4 STYLING TIPS FOR EASY OUTFITS

I don’t care what you say, but there is nothing like fall style! Especially in New York City. It is my absolute favorite season and IMO, the most fun time to play with style.

Whenever I’m in a style rut and have those “I have nothing to wear” moments, my go-to place for outfit ideas and inspiration is Pinterest. Sometime I forget the obvious choices and seeing how other put outfits together gets me excited again to get dressed.

Here are 4 simple styling tips for easy outfit ideas inspired by Pinterest!

MONOCHROMATIC

All black, gray, beige, or hunter green, monochromatic looks are super easy to recreate. Not only that, but they give off a chic and elevated vibe perfect for any occassion.

FUN PRINT OR COLOR

A pop of color or fun print, to an otherwise basic jeans and t-shirt look, is a great way to make a statement and add character to an outfit. Right now, colorful jackets and coats with geometric prints are on my radar. They also make dressing for the colder weather actually stylish.

NEUTRAL/BASIC COLORS

Whether you call it minimalistic style or basic, you can’t deny the fact that basics are classics and they never go out of style. We all have basic colors in our wardrobe; black, white, gray, navy, cream, tan etc. And if you don’t, this is your reminder to add them ASAP to your fall/winter shopping list!

Ok, plaid and that lumberjack print may be pretty stereotypical, but hey, they just work. This print, in particular, can be found in many varieties and therefore you’re bound to find one that fits your personal style.
